So I met Elvis Monkey when I landed at the Las Vegas airport. He was just sitting at a slot machine, looking board. We struck up a conversation as I was waiting for my friends plane to land and he decided he would hang with us and show us the town. In this photo he helps us look for our luggage.
This made me chuckle a good deal last night, but I saw that you double submitted so I waited until this morning to comment. The angle you chose for this holds very nice artistic merit and I like the overall blue tones within the photo as well as the crispness of it. The only thing I see to improve upon here would be that your hand was visible holding Elvis Monkey, but that is really just a small thing. I really like the expressions on the people in the background and I would just love to know what it was that they were thinking as you took that shot. Very nice, I hope to see more of this series.
Didn't mean to double submit it. It kept saying that it couldn't find the page. I agree about the hand thing. I tried to hold EM so you couldn't see my hand, but it didn't always work. I love the peoples faces also. Didn't pay attention to them taking the photo. Only saw them when I looked at the photo later. Too damn funny. And yes, there will be more. EM is going to come with me on all of my travels in the furture.
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
